At Unbridled Productions, we believe that exceptional events are built on three pillars: meticulous planning, genuine partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to going the extra mile. Our recent collaboration with Amplitude for their Company Kickoff (CKO) and Go-To-Market Kickoff (GTMKO) in Las Vegas exemplified all three and then some.

This wasn’t just another event. It was a masterclass in real-time problem-solving, technical innovation, and the kind of partnership that transforms ambitious visions into flawless execution.

The Challenge

A 12/10 Experience for a Global Team

Amplitude came to us with a clear goal: bring their global team together for an unforgettable experience.

Day 1 would focus on getting people excited about the company’s direction. Day 2 would dive into knowledge of the product and selling strategies.

And throughout it all, they wanted an experience that was both intentional and energetic — one that unified their purpose and strategic goals.

Our Response

We’re committed to exceeding their expectations and providing a 12/10 experience.

And we meant every word.

Our Promise
12/10

Exceed expectations.
Deliver the unforgettable.

That was the standard we set — and the experience we set out to build.

Partnership as a Competitive Advantage

From day one, our relationship with Front of House (FOH) Productions set the foundation for success. Every time we approached them with a new idea or concept, they were eager to try it out FOH worked with us to optimize budget allocations, providing strategic deals that allowed us to reinvest in production value.

The Amplitude team embodied this same partnership mentality. “They needed an idea for an opener, they are so game to try a bunch of random stuff. They are open to ideas,” said Emily Prest, our lead producer. This openness to innovation allowed us to bring cutting-edge technology to the event, including photon lights from European vendor Minuitune that were just hitting the market.

Technical Excellence: When Every Demo Works

Managing 56 speakers across a 13.5-hour day is no small feat. Add 11 live product demonstrations, each with its own laptop with its own technicalities, on top of that and you’re operating at a level where there’s zero margin for error.

Hours of preparation, testing, and technical direction. From the head of HR delivering their presentation to product specialists showcasing new features, every single demonstration executed flawlessly. That’s not luck, that’s process, partnership, and an obsessive attention to detail.

Innovation in Action: The Live Broadcast Element

One of the most technically ambitious aspects of the event was the live broadcast to Amplitude’s San Francisco headquarters. While the main event unfolded in Las Vegas, the company’s three co-founders were connecting virtually from their SF office for a watch party.

Joel Heaslip managed the San Francisco side of the operation with characteristic Unbridled excellence. He flew to Las Vegas first to ensure the livestream setup was dialed in, then flew to San Francisco to manage the broadcast from HQ, working directly with Amplitude’s co-founders.

This wasn’t just a passive video feed. The founders appeared on stage virtually, presenting awards to attendees in Las Vegas, a seamless integration of physical and digital that required perfect synchronization across time zones and technical platforms.

The Energy Never Stopped

Beyond the technical achievements and logistical gymnastics, what made this event truly special was the pacing and variety. The main general session included two live game shows, Family Feud and the Price is Right, each with its own distinct look and feel created through creative staging, lighting design and PTZ camera work.

“There was not one dull minute of that entire day. We were always doing something,” Emily reflected.

This constant momentum required 10 live stage transitions throughout the day, each choreographed to maintain energy while ensuring a good flow.

The Team Behind the Magic

None of this happens without exceptional people. Huge recognition goes to Nathan Hatfield, who consistently goes above and beyond for both clients and vendor partners. FOH was absolutely stellar, an extension of our team that we feel incredibly fortunate to work with.

Joel Heaslip’s dedication, flying to two cities to ensure both ends of the broadcast were perfect, exemplifies the Unbridled commitment to top notch work. And Emily herself, managing rehearsals while coordinating a ballroom flip, showed the kind of grace under pressure that defines great producers.

The Unbridled Difference

What sets Unbridled Productions apart isn’t just our technical capabilities or our vendor relationships, though both are world-class. It’s our philosophy that every event deserves a 12/10 experience. It’s our willingness to bring new technology to the table. It’s our ability to execute a 2.5-hour ballroom flip while running C-suite rehearsals. It’s our commitment to making sure that “every demo worked.”

Most importantly, it’s our understanding that events aren’t just about logistics and technology – they are about people. The Amplitude team trusted us to bring their vision to life, and that trust was built on a foundation of partnership, innovation, and a shared commitment to going above and beyond.

As Emily put it: “Super proud of this small but mighty team!”

At Unbridled Productions, we believe that the best events happen when passionate producers, skilled technicians, and collaborative clients come together with a shared vision. The Amplitude CKO/GTMKO was a testament to what’s possible when everyone is aligned, when partnerships are genuine, and when no one is satisfied with anything less than exceptional.
